Kenya’s Mara & Diani Beach Combo Tour Packages

Your Kenyan adventure begins as you touch down at Jomo  Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya’s bustling capital. A  Pinkstone Travel representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.  Depending on your arrival time, you might explore nearby attractions like the  David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or simply unwind after your journey.

Rise early for breakfast, then head to Wilson Airport for  your 45-minute flight to the Masai Mara. Soaring over Kenya’s landscapes,  you’ll land at a local airstrip where your safari guide awaits. After  transferring to your lodge and enjoying lunch, embark on your first game drive.  The Masai Mara teems with wildlife—expect to spot lions, giraffes, and zebras  against a backdrop of golden plains.

 
• Accommodation: Mara Eden Safari Camp or similar – a cozy retreat nestled in the bush.

• Activities: Afternoon game drive.

Today immerses you fully in the Masai Mara. Start with an  early morning game drive, the prime time to see predators in action and herds  awakening. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then spend the midday relaxing or  enjoying lodge amenities. In the afternoon, set out again to explore new  corners of the reserve, each drive revealing fresh wonders.

• Activities: Morning and afternoon game drives.

Another thrilling day in the Mara begins with a morning game drive. After breakfast, opt for a visit to a Maasai village, where you’ll meet the Maasai people, learn about their traditions, and perhaps join a dance. This cultural immersion adds depth to your safari. Later, an afternoon game drive offers more chances to spot the Big Five and the Mara’s 450+ bird species.

• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

 

• Activities: Morning game drive, Maasai village visit (optional), afternoon game drive.

Savor one final morning game drive in the Mara, capturing  last-minute photos of the savannah. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip  for your 1.5-hour flight to Diani Beach. Upon landing at Ukunda Airstrip,  you’ll be whisked to your beach resort. Spend the afternoon settling in,  strolling the shore, or dipping into the pool.

 
• Accommodation: Baobab Beach Resort or similar – a beachfront haven.

 

• Meals: Breakfast, dinner.

 

• Activities: Morning game drive, travel to Diani Beach.

These three days are yours to enjoy Diani Beach’s  paradise-like setting. With its powdery sands and warm waters, it’s ideal for relaxation. Your resort offers plenty to do, or you can choose optional  excursions:

 
• Snorkeling/Diving: Discover coral reefs alive with tropical fish.

 

• Shimba       Hills National Reserve: A day trip to see elephants and rare sable antelope.

 

• Colobus       Conservation Centre: Learn about efforts to protect local monkeys.

 

• Dhow       Cruise: Sail on a traditional boat, possibly with a seafood lunch.
      Each night, enjoy dinner featuring fresh coastal flavors.
